California Continued! (*dun dun dunnnnnnnn*)

Congratulations friends, you have reached the last post! There was a relatively large hiatus between this and the last post so hopefully you have forgotten the pain of the others enough to endure this single last post! This is really just a mash up of things from San Francisco...an opus if you will. Enjoy!

These were all taken at this awesome park over
by the bridge. There were lots of people jogging
and bike riding, it was really cool.
There were breaks in the paths where you could
go onto the beach and walk along Alcatraz and of
course, The Golden Gate Bridge. It was really
stunning. Taking pictures was hard because there
was a lot of bright sun coming from behind the bridge
reflecting off the bay.

Za Beach!

Random cool picture of sand :D

Random cool picture of bird :D

I think this is my favorite picture of Alcatraz from the
many I took on the trip. The sun was starting to set
and the birds add a nice touch don't yah think? :P

We decided to stay for the sunset.
It was well worth it.

My mom and I both posed at this spot (see below)
and it took forever because we both kept
jumping out of the way because of the waves
breaking. See the right of the picture,
you can see some of the waves there.

Here we're like on this mountain looking down over
the bridge. There were all these turn offs where
you could stop and take pictures. It's
the classic TV intro shot.

Once you got to the top (it was a ways up, and there
were people biking up! Nuts...) you could walk through a
small tunnel and when you got to the other side
you could look out over the water and the back
of the mountain. It was so beautiful.

Alright see down behind my mom?
The land? Well this guy with a group
behind us was like to his group,
"Down there's Half Moon Bay."
And no one was really listening to him.
And he kind of mumbled,
"...it's in the shape of a half moon...."
I was trying so hard no to laugh!
No s*** Sherlock. :P

Allow me a Full House moment here...
*starts mumbling theme song*

Pier 39!
Sea Lions!

San Francisco is known for it's Sour Dough Bread.
This is Boudin Bread Company.
And yes, they are made of bread. :D
My dream come true!!

My mom stopped and made me get my picture
taken here.
I wasn't happy.

Steep street to Alcatraz :]

For some reason,
and I have no reason why,
I love this picture.
Major conundrum.

Lombard Street!
America's Most Crooked Street!
:D

This was someone's drive-way!
And there was a huge line
to get onto Lombard,
like we were waiting 10 minutes or so.
Can you imagine?

On the street before getting onto Lombard, it was a
steep upward hill and the people in front of us had a
clutch...and didn't know how to use it well....
I was...frightened.

:D

Steep hill!

Okay so this dude has a dog on his back.
I was like...it is real? And indeed folks,
It is real.

Street car!

Ah, now I bring you to my favorite part of the trip.
Ghiradelli!!!
This is Ghiradelli Square.
They have this AWESOME soda ice cream shop.
It's worth flying 6 hours across the country
just for this.
I mean it too.

This was our first time there.
We had a Butterscotch-Hot fudge sundae.
Mmmmmmm *drools*

*buying ticket for San Francisco to get
ice cream*

This was kind of our first experience
with shockingly steep streets.

You're on the edge and then...gone.

Okay so my mom made me get out and take a picture
in the middle of a perfectly busy street.
I don't know if I posted that before...if so...
you can tell I'm still bitter about it -.-

And so ends my trip to San Francisco :-( Even though most of you are singing Hallelujah.
Anyway I hope you enjoyed it! It wasn't really a place I wanted to go to before, but I had such an awesome time. I absolutely loved it. I definitely think it should be one of the places you should definitely go. If you ever get a chance, GO. Don't think twice just go and have fun. This goes for Carmel also.
Thanks for looking! <3

OK! I decided I would look at these again cause it's 1:10 AM and I'm bored xD and the only things I've learned is:

1. Half Moon Bay is in the shape of a half moon (LOL)

2. You like that bridge WAY too much (xDD)

and 3. NEVER learn to drive a clutch in San Fransico...too many hills O_o
