Californiacation Part 1
Okay we're uber out of order so bare with me. And it was very difficult narrowing it down to these 50 gazillion pix on here :P And there are PLENTY more to come (I can hear you all saying "Oh god"--I know!). I will try to make this as painless as possible and hey at least you can skim through these instead of me making slides or something and commentating on every single shot (there are probably well over five hundred). I'm going to try to make this as non confusing as possible too because the pictures uploaded to the computer all jumbled and I didn't really straighten them out that well so...pay attention! And I have two camera cards that I was using simultaneously during the trip so on future post there will be some that have the same places as in this post. :P Alright here we go:
I have about 50 million of the Golden Gate Bridge.
For these sunset ones we walked around this park
and my mom decided we should stay to get pix
of it at sunset. I think it was worth it :D

This is Carmel, California. There are a lot of
these pix. We went on this scenic
17 Mile Drive. It started out like just woods and stuff
and then we found the coast and it was just breath taking.
Soo incredibly gorgeous.

Carmel: The coast was really rocky and beautiful.
My mom and I went out on the rocks and started
taking pictures. I found a little pool with hermit
crabs in it too :P So random I know.

Carmel: Here I'm at the beach in Carmel, before the
17 Mile Drive. There was this awesome tree that I
fell in love with, and climbed for pictures.

Here I am on the beach in Carmel. I ended
up getting sunburnt, in the marks of my big
sunglasses lol and my necklace. And only my one arm.

To get to the beach in Carmel you have to
walk down this incredibly steep hill, because
it's like built into a mountain--how most of
California was. My mom and I were concerned
about going back up and this was the first
time we saw the ocean and we suddenly
decided it was worth it :P. But yes, the
walk back up was miserable. We had to
stop like every two blocks lol! By the end of
the trip we were quite used to climbing hills.

My mom driving the 17 Mile Drive.

All their trees seemed to grow nearly horizontally and I
just thought it was funny that they cut out their fence.

This is one house. One. And part of it was cut off!!
Carmel's a really wealthy area so all the house were like
mondo huge and this one was one of the bigger ones.
Clint Eastwood was actually the mayor of Carmel at
some point.

Okay well 50 down 450 to go :P Just kidding. I hope you enjoyed the first set though. Still to come: San Francisco, including more Golden Gate Bridge, very, very steep streets, and the crookedest street in the country! Ghiradelli: Home of ice cream sundaes that are pretty much worth the six hour plane ride. Muir Woods: Redwoods and sequoias! And a deer....
