Connecticut!

Okay so January 19th me and my parents set out on the five hour drive to West Haven, Connecticut. We were in New Jersey when my iPod started flashing Low Battery which so wasn't cool. So I amused myself most of the ride by texting and playing Tetris and of course listening to my parents bicker about bad drivers, large tolls, and annoying rap music. There was a van that stayed with us from Philly to the first Connecticut rest stop that had some weird rapper on the side and the guys in the van were hilarious. I caught a glimpse at McDonalds, the one had a chain on well past his waist.
We didn't really have any problems getting to West Haven...finding Lauren's house was a different story....We went in circles for like thirty minutes. All the while I was texting Lauren, and being told about some lake....We asked for directions from some people selling live lobsters and fish "n" chips by the coast and...they were wrong. So we finally ended up at a Sunoco and Lauren decided we were in need of some...directional assistence...so her and her mom came and fetched us.
Now I'm sure anyone reading this is ready to shoot themselves by now soo...I'll wrap it up.
So basically we sat around and talked, ate, took quizzes with outcomes we weren't so happy about.... On Sunday we walked up Lauren's street about ten times because her male friend is apparently high matinence. Worse than me. Sad, right? So then we walked up to a pizza place in the blistering cold and had cold sodas...stupid so stupid...and then walked back. And I kept getting stuff in my shoes!!!
Then we went to the mall with Laur's friend Camden and we all found things we were going to get and then eventually put back. And I got Starbucks that day so I was very happy.
Anyway my camera started blinking low battery (serious bad luck right???) so I only took a few pictures...but hopefully Lauren will soon upload the couple on her camera too...so stay tuned.
